('onesville. and Mark Andrew Bice. son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Bice of Cooperdale, were united marriage August 31.

in the Conesville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Nettie Burkey officiated for the 6:30 p.m. doubleceremony. A half-hour prelude of music was presented by Mrs.

Glen Holt and Melody Bechtol. soloist. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She chose a gown of white taffeta with embroidered collar and yoke and melon sleeves. The front of the skirt was trimmed with handclipped re-embroidered lace medallions.

The ruffled back skirt was fashioned In rows of Chantilly lace, flowing to a chapel train. She wore a matching Victorian hat. trimmed in Venise lace with a fingertip veil. Her cascade bouquet was of white carnations with pink and lavender accents. Maid of Honor was Dawn Albertson.

twin sister of the bride. She wore a floor-length gown of white and orchid. with a wreath of orchid flowers in her hair. She carried a fan of pink and orchid silk flowers. similar to those of the bride's bouquet.

The bridegroom wore a gray tuxedo with a white boutonniere with pink rosebud center. Beck. brother-in-law Best man was wTim the groom. He also wore a gray tuxedo with a white carnation boutonniere with pink rosebud center. Mother of the bride wore a long-sleeved, sheer brown and white street dress.

impeccable soul that she is, all five feet of her, decided the dress needed a quick pressing that would best be done by her trusty dryer after a gentle, squish washing machine's permanent press cycle. The spinpressing was perfectly timed, considering, the that had just returned from viewing a lengthy parade in which the teen-ager had participated (although suffering from laryngitis, marching in the rain, and not quite 2 hours remained on the clock before her dinner date at which she had anticipated wearing the now spinning in the 'dryer. A hasty inventory of the teen-ager's wardrobe revealed that that was the only dress suitable for the impending date. so the bleach brigade went into action. knuckle-to-knuckle, as Mom poured and brushed bleach onto the collar and cutts. and others held white towels against the inevitable bleed of the bleach into the dress. The collar and cuffs became even whiter than they were originally.

However. the dress had now developed another collar a vellowish gold where the bleach had somehow bled into the surrounding fabric. despite people nearly standing on their heads to prevent such a disastrous development. Talk about ring around the collar' There was no time tor talk. though.

as WaS now nearing countdown. Mom decided there vas nothing 10 do except bleach the entire dress. so 111 went. tor a total bleach bath However. that came to a standstill temporary.

lar, sheer nylon and lace yoke, long sleeves and flared skirt. wore silk mauve rosebuds and baby's breath in their hair and carried bouquets of silk white carnations, mauve, lavender and white rosebuds. The bridegroom was attired in a gray tuxedo MR. AND MRS. PAUL I.

BOUZA with white shirt with lavender -trimmed ruffles. His boutonniere was a white carnation with lavender ribbon. Best man was James Bouza. brother of the groom, and groomsman Steven Mason, brother of the bride. Each wore a gray tuxedo with white shirt and boutonniere of white carnation tipped with mauve.

Mother of the bride wore a long gown in burgundy challis knit. styled with a long, flared skirt and close-fitting bodice with spaghetti straps, worn with a matching long-sleeved jacket, ruffled at the wrist and front closure. Her corsage was of mauve rosebuds. A reception was held at St. John's United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall.

hosted by parents of the bride. Hostesses were Tambra Pingle, cousin of the bride. of Dover: Lynette Foote of Kent: and Kim Davis Cindy Catt, both of Coshocton. Sharon Tharp of Mount Vernon was guest book attendant. The bride is a graduate of Kent State University.

She is field director of Northwest North Dakota Girl Scout Council. Her husband is a student at Minot State College. Following their honeymoon spent at Salt Fork Lodge, they are residing at 405 11th Avenue S.W.. Apt. 10.

The skirt of full tiered lace swept into a chapel train. Her fingertip veil of illusion, edged in lace, was held in place by a halo of flowers. She carried a traditional bridal bouquet of white and lavender roses, dark with purple white Johnny and jump purple ups baby's breath, streamered with long, lavender lace and white satin ribbon. Matron of Honor was Jackie Ruby, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaid was Kim Thomas, sister of the bridegroom.

Their spaghetti gowns were styled identically, in white with lavender and purple floral Each carried two longstemmed white roses, tipped with lavender, on a green leat with baby's breath. caught with streamers. Flowergirl was Tanya Wise, sister of the bride. She wore a street -length dress of lavender dotted Swiss She carried a white lace basket of lavender and white petals. The bridegroom was attired in a grey tuxedo with white shirt.

WILLIAM R. WILLIAMSON MARK A. BICE was held at the Conesville Fire Station. The bride IS a 1984 graduate of River View High School. The bridegroom is a 1981 graduate of River View High School and is employed at Clow's.

Following a short honeymoon, they are residing at Bellflower Apartments, Seuth Third Street, Apt. 7B, in Coshocton. passerby who happened to notice the family basketball hoop with stand that had been uprooted by tornado-like winds, sending it into more of soccer or hockey goal He wondered if it was for sale! Dad returns with the new supply of bleach, the fumes of which nearly sent everyone into orbit. as Mom diligently poured pungent liquid over the dress, trying to wash that black right out of the goods. The fumes were so strong by this time that she could not see what she was doing, despite ceiling vent fans being turned on and doors opened throughout the house.

A cold wash cloth helped preserve her sight long enough to complete decoloring of the dress which now a pale yellow shade, with finely defined stripe of the original color. Meanwhile, dinner which had been baking in the oven since before the wardrobe-redoing had started was well past the ready-mark. In fact. if left much longer. it would have been cinnamoncinder, so once again Dad is called upon for action bevond the call of duty.

this time in the kitchen to complete dinner details. while Mom is now back in the laundry room once more depositing the dress in the washer. this time to rid it. and evervone around it. of the bleach odor that would have ended the teenager's date in a hurry.

Time finally ran out, as Mom retrieved the dress. now with vellowish cults and collar. as the doorbell rang and it was time tor the teen age daughter to quickly choose something else to wear that evening The door slammed on them as she parted compang with the family with the deduction that It's OK. Mom. 1 wouldn't have had shoes and purse 10 match 11 now.

At time, a ballpoint, pen.

so well hidden in a pocket that it detied even her usual "search and destroy method. literalIs re-did an entire load of wash in hiving ballpoint! Included were her bus. band's best shirts, all his of course. a newly purchased white suit the one that really 111 fastidious teen aver and a totally white band uniform that Wis to be worn 111 parade within the hour by that same teen ager who generally hits the pattern the dash here dash there teen ol todas Not to worry Mom to the rescue with her trusts stam remover. lot- and lots of rubbing and scrub bing the blue streaked garments until her hands were virtually raw.

and countless prayers that her efforts 10 save the clothing would be successful. This past weekend. though. saw Mom 111 her undress role at her vers best or worst depen ding upon who you are. or from what angle soul re watching the drama ol the drain machine untold This tune took over with the very tavorite dress of the same teenage daughter purchased with her pascheck This summer and mort once She is a 1979 graduate of Mount Aloysius Junior College in Cresson.

Pa. She is a certified occupational therapist's assistant Rochester Psychiatric Center in Rochester. N. Y. Her fiance is a 1976 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg.

and is currently an industrial engineer at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester. N. Y. Their wedding is being planned to take place at 2:30 p.m.. Nov.
